Pachamama Resources Ltd (PMA-V)
Pachamama Resources, led by CEO and President John Leask, is a November 2008 spinoff from Mansfield Minerals that was intended to hold Mansfield's non-core assets in preparation for a potential sale of the Lindero project. Among the company's key assets are a 50% interest in the copper-gold IOCG Rio Grande joint venture with Antares Minerals in Argentina's Salta province and several 100% owned early-stage projects across Argentina. In December 2011 a resource caculation was completed for Rio Grande showing 1 billion copper pounds and 1.6 million gold ounces in the measured and indicated categories, all at relatively low grades. Also in December 2011 drill results indicated that the companies have located a higher grade zone where, starting from a depth of 293 meters, 257 meters was intercepted grading 0.53 per cent Cu, 1.20 g/t Au, 1.59 g/t Ag (1.19 per cent Cu Eq or 2.39 g/t gold equivalent.) In February 2012 the company announced it would be merging with Pachamama Resources in order to consolidate control over the Rio Grande property in which the two companies currently own 50% each. |
Key to Understanding IPV Charts and Spec Value Hunter Tables
An IPV Chart is a graphical presentation of a Spec Value Hunter table that has been constructed according to the Rational Speculation Model developed by John Kaiser. The IPV Chart allows speculators to identify which projects offer poor, fair or good speculative value in both absolute and relative terms. The speculative value depends on the project stage, the project's implied value as calculated by the company's fully diluted capitalization, stock price and net project interest, and the dream target deemed appropriate for the project. A dream target is what a project would be worth in discounted cash flow terms once in production. |
Green background indicates the dream target judged appropriate for this play by John Kaiser - otherwise unranked. |
Poor Speculative Value - |
Fair Speculative Value - |
Good Speculative Value - |
Note: narrow arrows indicate IPV is outside the fair value channel but within 25% of the fair value limits |
