 SV Rating: Bottom-Fish Spec Value - as of November 28, 2022: Copper Lake Resources Ltd was assigned a Bottom-Fish Spec Value rating on January 4, 2022 based on a major rethink of the 75% owned Marshall Lake project in western Ontario that has been explored by numerous parties since Teck first discovered copper-zinc VMS style mineralization in 1954. The 10,430 ha Marshall Lake project is located east of Lake Nipigon and straddles a 16 km segment of the Wabigoon Greenstone Belt. The first resource estimate for the Billiton deposit emerged in 1970, with the most recent non-43-101 compliant resource consisting of 2.2 million tonnes of 1.3% copper, 4.2% zinc and 2.5 opt silver. The closest analogue is the Sturgeon Lake cluster of 5 VMS deposits 250 km to the west whose 20 million tons were mined out between 1981-1991. The best deposit was Mattabi at 12.55 million tons grading 8.25% zinc, 0.74% copper, 0.86% lead and 3.31 opt silver. Over 300 holes have been drilled in the Marshall Lake area of which only a dozen were deeper than 250 m. The 600 m WSW striking 150 m north dipping Billiton deposit consists of stacked disseminated to massive lenses comprised of what are interpreted as remobilized sulphides that ended up in a shear zone. Although this large property hosts a lot of geochemical base metal smoke, most shallow EM conductors have been drilled without yielding new zones. For Marshall Lake to become a mine development candidate it needs to yield an outcome similar to the Sturgeon Lake cluster, at a minimum 4 times the tonnage and double the grades of the Billiton zone. The majors lost interest in the early 1980s after which various juniors poked around.  SV Rating: Bottom-Fish Spec Value - as of October 25, 2023: Copper Road Resources Inc was assigned a Bottom-Fish Spec Value rating at $0.085 on October 25, 2023 based on its rethink of the district scale Copper Road project in Ontario for its potential to host alkaline copper-gold porphyry deposits. The Copper Road project includes two former high grade copper mines which operated between 1965-1972 in an area that is unique for copper porphyry potential in Ontario. The area was largely closed to staking and exploration until 2002 when various groups started exploring for both copper and gold. The last major effort took place in 2014-2015 when Superior Copper Corp approached it with an IOCG model which failed to deliver. Copper Road is the former spinout shell from Ned Goodman's Cogitore Resources Inc which sold its properties to Yorbeau Resources Inc in 2015. Copper Road acquired the Copper Road project in 2017 but did not get serious about the copper story until 2022 after John Timmons, formerly with Guyana Goldfields, became the new CEO. Since then about $2.5 million has been raised between $0.07-$0.12 from a small group of backers that includes Jason Libenson's Castlewood, Robert Cudney's Northfield and Pat Sheridan Jr. The Copper Road board, which is impressive in its own right, owns 5.7 million shares or 10% of the 55.2 million issued while other backers own 10 million shares (fully diluted 78.7 million - the 19 million warrants are in friendly hands). Assays are pending for a 7 hole, 1,224 m program completed late September 2023 into the Jogran and Richards targets within the new 5 km by 5 km JR area where the breccia pipes are hypothesized to be linked to deeper copper-gold alkaline porphyry deposits.
