Galway is a primarily North America-focused company developing tungsten and moly projects. The company is led by President and CEO Robert Hinchcliffe. Galway's flagship is the feasibility-stage Victorio Mountain underground tungsten-molybdenum project in New Mexico that contains 135 million measured and indicated pounds of moly and a further 108 million pounds in the inferred category. Galway is also advancing the Indian Springs Tungsten project in Elko County Nevada that hosts a 310 million pound tungsten resource, largely in the inferred category. In early 2009 Galway also entered into a joint venture to develop coal projects in Colombia with a subsidary of Xstrata, and in July 2009 announced the acquisition of a land position in the California gold trend in Colombia. In October 2012 the company agreed to be acquired for $2.05 per share in cash, plus one share of a spinoff company holding the Victorio Moly-tungsten project and one share in another spinoff company holding the Vetas gold project.
Key to Understanding IPV Charts and Spec Value Hunter Tables
An IPV Chart is a graphical presentation of a Spec Value Hunter table that has been constructed according to the Rational Speculation Model developed by John Kaiser. The IPV Chart allows speculators to identify which projects offer poor, fair or good speculative value in both absolute and relative terms. The speculative value depends on the project stage, the project's implied value as calculated by the company's fully diluted capitalization, stock price and net project interest, and the dream target deemed appropriate for the project. A dream target is what a project would be worth in discounted cash flow terms once in production.
Green background indicates the dream target judged appropriate for this play by John Kaiser - otherwise unranked.
Poor Speculative Value -
Fair Speculative Value -
Good Speculative Value -
Note: narrow arrows indicate IPV is outside the fair value channel but within 25% of the fair value limits
